Brief biography
My name is Joselin Hernández Esquivel. I was born in Corinto, Nicaragua -a beautiful town by the ocean. I had a very happy childhood with my grandparents, cousins and aunty. It was until I reached 11 years old that I moved with my beloved mom to Leon.
In Leon, I studied high school and went to College. After graduating with honors in "Tourism Enterprise Management", I worked in several tour operators and a hotel In 2009 I moved to France, where I served as a Spanish teacher in a high school. Once more in Nicaragua, I became a program coordinator for a travel non profit organization-Global Glimpse..
Traveling and experiencing new cultures is one of the things that keep me more alive, that's why having an international career in the Tourism Sector is my main goal.
The next step to take was to study abroad. Fortunately, I got a full scholarship to study Tourism Management in Salzburg, Austria. Now I am learning valuable skills that I will definitely use in my future career.

My familyMy family back in Leon is very small and united. There, I only live with my mom and grandfather (other members of the family are my puppy and cat). They are very dear to me. My mom is a courageous, warm-hearted, funny and hardworking lady. I owe her my life and the values and determination that have shaped the human being I am now. She is my best friend and the most truthful love I have.. My grandfather is simply lovely, being the most popular old gentleman of the neighborhood, he can still make some old ladies' hearts beat faster.
My extended family is also very important to me, since I was raised by multiple family members. My aunty Yolanda is like my second mother, my other aunty is the third and all of my cousins are the brothers and sisters I don't have. |
My beloved friends

My main hobby: traveling
Traveling is one of the pleasures in life that I enjoy the most. Seeing other people's lives, experiencing new tastes in food, admiring new landscapes and architecture, living new traditions, making new friends, learning history, philosophy, religions, art. All of that is what traveling means to me.
My favorite place in Nicaragua
The best tourist destination in Nicaragua is Ometepe Island. This is a magnificent place in the middle of the big lake of Nicaragua. The Island is formed by two impressive volcanoes and hosts a rich biodiversity and precolumbian history. There you will enjoy one of the most stunning landscapes you can find in the country.
